If you join me under the tree
Can i look, can i see
The beauty of your sparkling eyes
Under the never ending skies
Can our lips, softly meet
In a kiss so long and sweet
Can my fingers explore your skin
Part your defences, invade within
Can i suckle on your desire
Burn in the hotness of your fire
Fill you with the seeds of love
Under the tree that rises above

A couple of weeks ago, my village had a storm which brought some tree limbs down. We would never have seen this face except for the storm. He's such a cheerful sort!

I have 10 of these that have germinated, all grown from seeds from apples from a Jupiter apple tree in the garden. I am going to have to think what to with them - probably destined for going into hedges rather than specimen trees but I will give them a few years in pots and have them handy for when i need something for a slot.
When Ranger (pony) eventually dies (he is 37) There will be some very obvious places for hedges that are impracticable now and apples are so fascinating and pollinator friendly. Every seed grown apple tree is unique, probably useless but potentially a wonderful new discovery.
